Safety and use information
Papira stores information exclusively on the user's device, in encrypted form. Before using it, the user should be aware of the following:
- The app does not sync between devices and keeps no copies on our servers. Loss, theft or failure of the device means the loss of any data that exists only on it. It is recommended that backups be created regularly and kept in another place.
- The backup file password is not recoverable. If it is lost, the content of the file becomes permanently inaccessible. The same applies to the app PIN, if the user forgets it without having biometrics set up.
- Reminders are local notifications whose delivery depends on the operating system and the device settings. The app is a memory aid and does not replace the user keeping track of deadlines.
- The copies of documents stored in the app do not replace the originals and have no value as identification documents.
- The app is intended for people aged 18 and over and for personal and family use.
This information also appears in the Terms of Use and is accessible before the purchase of any paid plan.
